Topic Proposal

I have been back and forth between many different careers in the past few years. I have always known that I wanted to do something that involved helping others, although I was never really sure what it would be exactly. Then, as the years went by I developed a strong love for children and a love for interacting with them. After realizing my passion for this, I began looking at different areas in which I thought I could succeed. In my last semester I took a psychology class and I absolutely loved it! The connection with the teacher was awesome and I was able to relate to the material very well, which helped me understand it even better. Now, I have absolutely set in stone on becoming a child psychologist. It is exactly what I am looking for, involving children and giving me the ability to help them in so many different ways. Doing this assignment will help me learn all about the field of child psychology. I hope to learn exactly what courses I should take, how long it is going to take to become a child psychologist, and how many different fields there are in this particular area. I am really excited to begin the education I will need to achieve in order to obtain my goal. I am even more excited to get start my career as a child psychologist.
